The World IEQ forum 2018 is an excellent setup which provides a platform for discussing challenges, exchanging knowledge, and presenting innovations relevant to the IEQ. The IEQ is a multi-discipline subject where engineers, scientists, physicians as well as regulators play important roles and contribute to shape the development of this issue. The IEQ forum is the right answer for the fast evolvement and continued development of the technical areas within the IEQ which require such platforms.

The whole event was a great opportunity to engage with leaders and experts in the field and to learn from countries across regions the strategic ways they use to enhance the lives of their people by driving greater penetration of energy-efficient solutions. My congratulations to the organizers for successfully convening participants from across the sectors to focus on common goals. I think the organizers did a great job in selecting speakers and the speakers themselves did a great job in sharing what they do. It’s a good place to initiate collaboration and try to brainstorm ideas for new concepts.

A much needed unique event for the region considering the fact that we spend 95% of our time indoors .The QUALITY of air we breathe is much debated and this event addresses this core requirement well by bringing regulatory authorities, consultants, contractors and HSE specialists onto a single “ actionable” platform

- Christopher Rajamani, Deputy General Manager (UAE), Al Hoty-Stanger Laboratories

As UAE strives to promote Happiness and Sustainability, IEQ is often a forgotten and unseen component that contributes to the sustainability, health and well-being of communities. This conference is essential for any professionals responsible for living or working conditions in buildings. In the UAE we spend far more time inside particularly in the summer and therefore have higher exposure to impact of IEQ. This forum enables a sharing of latest developments to help mitigate risks of users of internal spaces and boost the productivity of employees or the wellness of residential communities.
